Service Description

Assessment centers are regulary conducted by large organizations with leading people practices to identify, develop, place and promote talent. Assessments are conducted by observing a participant’s performance when placed in a simulated professional situation in an otherwise unfamiliar business environment. An assessor plays a pivotal role in undertaking assessment of organizational personnel and fostering these are conducted in a fair, objective, professional and unbiased manner. The role of an assessor is often played by external consultants, HR personnel, line managers outside immediate team, skip level managers, etc. An assessor’s evaluation has significant implications on critical organizational decisions spanning across recruitment, placement, career pathing, high-potential (Hi-Po) identification, development planning, succession planning and promotions. This requires specialized know how in utilizing related tools and evaluation techniques, understanding of the business context and personality types and an unbiased approach. Considering the increasing demand and relative shortage of specialized assessors, P T Canada (PTC) is organizing a three-day intensive program to build capability, develop expertise and certify professional ability to undertake assessments. Successful completion of this training workshop as per specified requirements will result in a Bronze Asset certification. Key Workshop Objectives • To develop an in-depth understanding of assessment center types, methodology, tools and techniques • To build capability for competency based assessments and evaluation • To develop capability in observing individual performance in simulated situations and translate related behaviors • To build capability to make accurate and informed assessments • To hone skills and knowledge required to undertake objective and professional assessment Our Value Proposition • Introduction to PTC Leadership Center concept for conducting leadership specific assessments • A one-day simulated assessment center, where participants get an opportunity to experience live assessments • Experience sharing with practitioners and PTC Assessors • Certification of acquired skills. Participants will be awarded a Bronze Asset certificate on successful completion of training as per specified requirements.
